Beyond palm beaches

For many enthusiasts in Holland it will be a first introduction to the colorful art from Costa Rica. The Central American country may not be very well known in Western Europe, but many have a positive association with it. "For the Dutch it is primarily a holiday paradise," says Dutch-Costa Rican organizer Erika Stanley. “That is all fine ofcourse, tourism is an important sector for the country. But you can discover many more beautiful things there than palm beaches. And we are willing to show that to the people.”Erika Stanley Art For All in Roosendaal offers unique art and high end art reproductions by Erika Stanley herself and other artists. Series of Stanley’s work are also part of the collection of Galeria Valanti, based in San José. Pura Vida art show can be visited free of charge until Saturday June 1.
